Your stuff has been in DVB in the OS and it used to work from there. What I was fiddling with is in video4linux CVS and is used for testing only. It was not added to the OS yet. Therefore the stuff I worked on yesterday could not affect you in any way. That was my concern. So it would appear that bit-rot has broken your driver. Possible causes are linux-2.6.12-rc6 vanilla sources incompatibility with earlier versions in the area of i2c registration and dvb registration. I am not familiar with you driver other than both appear to share the cx88 code. I don't think I can be of any help to you. Maybe someone else on the list has expertise. -- Mac
