I'll reply to your other points later once I've given them some thought - but this one I couldn't resist: I know that they are _supposed_ to have unique service_ids. However this one channel _really_ did have the same service_id for all channels in its PAT, and they actually did point at seperate PMT tables. Who knows how the hell you were ever meant to select a channel :) Hotbird is a mess IMO. Good for robustness testing though! :)
