OK, after some tinkering around with patches, I managed to get a kernel to work and the capture card is working well (big thanks to everyone who helped). Here's the next question... Has anyone managed to get this card working with LIRC? I have LIRC installed from RPMs, but it looks as if the required kernel modules aren't installed. I can't install the lirc kernel modules package because it doesn't recognise the kernel I built to get the capture card working. Any suggestions on where I should go from here?
