[linux-dvb] Decrypting data from arbitrary encrypted PID's (OpenTV)

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Are there any tools available to decrypt (with the relevant
CAM) and capture an arbitrary encrypted PID off DVB-S? Our
provider appears to be using an OpenTV-based EPG, but the
channel the EPG is provided on is encrypted like all normal
channels. It doesn't contain video or audio PID's however,
and most of the CAM-aware tools I have require one of
these.

Ideally I would like it saved in TS format so I can analyse
it with dvbsnoop and see if it is actually OpenTV or
something else (hopefully MHP). I haven't seen any tools
capable of analysing OpenTV streams, so if it is OTV I'm
probably out of luck.

Thanks

Neil
