All, I've been trying to get my Hauppauge Nova-T PCI card to work with Fedora Core 3. I've patched my kernel with the appropriate file(s) from bytesex. I've rebooted and done "modprobe cx88_dvb" and been confronted with this: dmesg <snip> Linux video capture interface: v1.00 cx2388x dvb driver version 0.0.4 loaded cx88[0]: subsystem: 0070:9002, board: Hauppauge Nova-T DVB-T [card=18,autodetected] tveeprom(cx88xx internal): Huh, no eeprom present (err=-121)? cx88[0]: warning: unknown hauppauge model #0 cx88[0]: error: unknown hauppauge tuner 0x00 cx88[0]: registered IR remote control ACPI: PCI Interrupt Link [LNKB] enabled at IRQ 7 PCI: setting IRQ 7 as level-triggered ACPI: PCI interrupt 0000:00:0d.0[A] -> GSI 7 (level, low) -> IRQ 7 cx88[0]/2: found at 0000:00:0d.0, rev: 5, irq: 7, latency: 32, mmio: 0xeb000000 cx88[0]/2: cx2388x based dvb card readreg: readreg error (ret == -121) cx22702_validate_demod i2c demod type 0xffffffff not known cx88[0]: frontend initialization failed cx88-dvb: probe of 0000:00:0d.0 failed with error -1 which is (I think) all the dvb related stuff. I'm hoping that the "Huh, no eeprom present" error message isn't as terminal as it sounds and that it causes the errors later in the log. Is this fixable without further application of cash? -- Graeme
