Does it work with mencoder? If so, it may be that replex has problems
with 64bit, although I tested it a while ago with amd64, but haven't
done so with the latest version.

(mencoder from the latest CVS should work with something like:
mencoder -of mpeg -mpegopts format=dvd:vbitrate=9000 -o myfile.mpg
-oac copy -ovc copy record.ts)
