Great! Now, all I need to know is how to get the module loaded automatically and how to set permissions on /dev/dvb/*. If I understand things correctly there should be a "hotplug event" generated for each PCI-card and that triggers the loading of the corresponding module(s) if the module(s) "supports it". Since my cx88_dvb module isn't loaded automatically my question is: Is there something missing in the cx88_dvb module or is there an error in my setup? When it comes to permissions I have tried both creating a .permissions file and editing the 50-udev.rules setting GROUP="video" for all dvb devices but none of these approaches works for me :-/ Any hints?
