[linux-dvb] udev creates unexpected /dev/deb names.

Thank you Magnus, an upgrade solved my problem.

I use Gentoo Linux 2.6.11-r6 and the stable branch for 
nearly everything else. The stable version of udev is 45 
and the unstable (~x86) version is 56. Version 56 solves 
the problem I was experiencing. I noticed that version 56 
also contains the patch referred to in the documentation.
