[linux-dvb] AverMedia AverTV DVB-T USB 2.0 kernel a800 OOPS

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi Patrick et al,
I just got my hands on an AverMedia AverTV DVB-T USB-2.0
box and wanted to see if I could get it working under Linux (gentoo).

I just tried the latest dvb-kernel from CVS (1st May 05) under
2.6.11.8 (SMP) on a HyperThread enabled P4 and got the
    following OOPs.

Any thoughts much appreciated. Note I have the firmware in
     /usr/lib/hotplug/firmware/dvb-usb-avertv-a800-02.fw, also
obtained from last night's viewcvs tarball.

I was using the "./insmod.sh load" script as per the docs.

Any help or thoughts hugely appreciated.

Here's the messages found in /var/log/messages in and around the
oops (looks like the driver found the box, not sure what warm
    state relates to):
