[linux-dvb] Software suspend 2 support working for dvb drivers?

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,

I'm trying to get software suspend 2 to work on my vdr box and I'm not
convinced that the dvb drivers come back up properly. I have yet to do
proper testing on this but _should_ it work? I'm pretty sure that teh
card (a very old Nova-T) doesn't tune on resume, although I need to test
further with dvbtune, dvbstream, etc.

I am using the drvers in the 2.6.10 kernel (although I had a quick go
with the cvs drivers). I found this message from last month:
http://www.linuxtv.org/pipermail/linux-dvb/2005-February/000204.html

and then follow-ups saying that it should work for the 2.6.10 drivers
without the patch.

Has anyone got this working properly? If so, any pointers? Do the
modules need explicit unloading and loading, or should they be OK 'as
is'?

Cheers,

Laz
