Hi list, haveing compiled the latest video4linux snapshot 20050307-161051 from dl.bytesex.org for my 2.6.10 kernel on Debian Linux, everything seems to work nicely. I am using XINE as a viewer which works OK until I zap to the next DVB channel in my playlist. Sometimes the first and the second zap works if they are not too close in time. After that XINE crashes. I have monitored /var/log/messages and here is a sample of what it says: Mar 8 09:31:53 dl6hbo kernel: saa7134[0]: mt352_pinnacle_init called Mar 8 09:32:15 dl6hbo last message repeated 3 times Mar 8 09:32:17 dl6hbo kernel: mt352_read_register: readreg error (reg=1,ret==-5) Mar 8 09:32:17 dl6hbo kernel: mt352_read_register: readreg error (reg=3,ret==-5) Mar 8 09:32:17 dl6hbo kernel: mt352_read_register: readreg error (reg=0,ret==-5) Mar 8 09:32:17 dl6hbo kernel: mt352_read_register: readreg error (reg=30,ret==-5) Mar 8 09:32:17 dl6hbo kernel: mt352_read_register: readreg error (reg=31,ret==-5) Mar 8 09:32:17 dl6hbo kernel: mt352_read_register: readreg error (reg=89,ret==-5) Mar 8 09:32:17 dl6hbo kernel: mt352_read_register: readreg error (reg=90,ret==-5) Mar 8 09:32:17 dl6hbo kernel: mt352_read_register: readreg error (reg=84,ret==-5) Mar 8 09:32:17 dl6hbo kernel: mt352_read_register: readreg error (reg=2,ret==-5) Mar 8 09:32:19 dl6hbo kernel: mt352_read_register: readreg error (reg=5,ret==-5) Mar 8 09:32:19 dl6hbo kernel: mt352_read_register: readreg error (reg=0,ret==-5) Mar 8 09:32:19 dl6hbo kernel: mt352_read_register: readreg error (reg=1,ret==-5) Mar 8 09:32:19 dl6hbo kernel: mt352_read_register: readreg error (reg=3,ret==-5) Mar 8 09:32:20 dl6hbo kernel: mt352_read_register: readreg error (reg=5,ret==-5) Mar 8 09:32:20 dl6hbo kernel: mt352_read_register: readreg error (reg=0,ret==-5) Mar 8 09:32:20 dl6hbo kernel: mt352_read_register: readreg error (reg=1,ret==-5) Mar 8 09:32:20 dl6hbo kernel: mt352_read_register: readreg error (reg=3,ret==-5) Mar 8 09:33:47 dl6hbo kernel: tuner 0-0060: i2c i/o error: rc == -5 (should be 6) Maybe Gerd, or someone else, more knowledgeable than me may be able to help ?
