That leaves just me as the "maintainer", but I've never done anything special on fbtft. My aim with a staging submission that mainly to bring all the development that was going on out of tree into the main kernel tree, with the hope that it would progressively move out of staging. An effort to which you have significantly contributed, but which I'm afraid, I also won't be able to pursue further than you did.
