[PATCH v2 0/4] *** rtl8192u: Replace semaphores with mutexes ***

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,

These are a set of patches [v2] which removes semaphores from:

drivers/staging/rtl8192u

These are part of a bigger effort to eliminate all semaphores
from the linux kernel.

They build correctly (individually and as a whole).
NB: I have not tested this as I do not have the following hardware:

"RealTek RTL8192U Wireless LAN NIC driver"

Review comments w.r.t. PATCH v1:
Changed the following patch (PATCH 4/4)
rtl8192u: Replace semaphore rf_sem with mutex
  with
      rtl8192u: Remove unused semaphore rf_sem
since 'rf_sem' has no users, removing it instead
of replacing it with a mutex.

Thanks,
Binoy
