People normally apply patches as they come so what happens is that
no one replies and the v1 patch is applied and the v2 set is thrown
away.

Hi Dan,

When Greg applies a patch, he sends me a message to inform
me but for the others maintainers you are right I don't know
whether they already applied it or not. I will be more careful.

Is this ok now that i resent them in reply to individual v1 parts?
Or it would have been better to send all of them in reply to just
the first part of the v1 series?
