OK.
I solved the firmware issue (no endianess - just kernel configuration)
Now I have an issue with connection:
I am trying to configure the device with "iwconfig" command, and it seems that something is missing,
For example when I am trying to configure channels:

/sys/module/cfg80211/parameters # iwconfig
lo no wireless extensions.

eth1 no wireless extensions.

wlan0 unassociated Nickname:"rtl_wifi"
          Mode:Auto Access Point: Not-Associated Sensitivity:0/0
          Retry:off RTS thr:off Fragment thr:off
          Encryption key:off
          Power Management:off
          Link Quality:0 Signal level:0 Noise level:0
Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0
          Tx excessive retries:0 Invalid misc:0 Missed beacon:0

eth0 no wireless extensions.

/sys/module/cfg80211/parameters # iwconfig wlan0 mode managed
/sys/module/cfg80211/parameters # iwconfig wlan0 channel any
Error for wireless request "Set Frequency" (8B04) :
    invalid argument "any".

What am I missing?

Thanks

Avner
