And why are you doing this? > > greg k-h Hi Greg, We have a custom "Universe" driver that we are using with our FPGA implementation of the Universe part. However, we would like to move to the driver that is available in the kernel tree. Therefore we will need to be sure it is working correctly for all major features and with our part, kernel revision, etc. We would like to build a test suite for all the supported features of the driver and then add any necessary enhancements to turn on any missing features we might need.
