Can do. I even considered this problem and rebased the series onto next
and back on Linus' master. And as the tree at the end matched the tree
at the beginning and I didn't have to resolve anything in between I
considered it OK. (So I think my problem here is that you're using quilt
and not git, though I didn't test if git can apply the patches on top of
next :-)
