The link should be severed as we can't move the driver out of the
staging tree unless these types of things are removed.
Fair enough. Increasing involvement in another project means that in reality it is unlikely that I shall be able to do any significant new work on the SourceForge driver anyway.
In order to avoid causing further problems for the series of patches queued by Tomas Winkler, I think it may be best if I withdraw my pending pair of patches at this time. Adding ALSA functionality is not urgent and can be addressed at a later date.
