Ok, things are getting tricky here.  I took a patch for this for the
staging-linus tree to go to Linus in a few days earlier.  Now I can
apply this one to the staging-next branch as well, and handle the merge
by my self (which is pretty easy I guess.)

But, ideally you could send me a patch for this for the staging-linus
branch so that I could get the update to Linus for the .37 release,
otherwise you will not be getting any emails from anyone who looks into
that release, which is probably not what you want.

So, could you rebase this single patch against that branch and resend
it?
