No not yet. But we are planning sooner or later.
As a first step, I'd just like to fix our logic to follow firmware file rule defined in http://linuxwireless.org/en/developers/Documentation/firmware-versioning.
This change is just using symbolic link rather than direct file name. Not more than that. 
Thus I don't think it will screw up anything even without changing firmware in the linux-firmware.
