There are some newer notebooks that do not have a mechanical wireless
switch to control power to the wireless adapter to allow users to
conserve power when wireless networking is not required: they have a
software-controlled "switch".
For those models with a software-driven "switch", will there be any
means to perform this power on/off switching function through the driver?
