The major change in the resulting pdf seems to be that with the include
directive the literal blocks are not wrapped in rectangles. Small price
to pay.

PS. Despite all the bumps in the road and complaints about Sphinx & pdf,
I think the pdf output is generally pretty nice. I never managed to
finish the pdf build with DocBook, so this is infinitely better than the
old toolchain for me. ;) Thanks everyone for making it work!
