If so, what's the mechanism by which it gets access to the deleted file? (Which losetup -l can tell me the path to, or at least the first 64 characters thereof, but it's (deleted)...) Sigh. I suppose I can cat the /dev/loop[0-9] device to a new file. I guess we don't care about restoring offset and such...
