Steve, All, This is my first attempt to fix the recently reported problem with OFD locks and cifs. We actually do our own checking for whether two locks would conflict in cifs.ko and we never added any code to handle OFD locks. This patch adds a conditional to allow the case where we test if we can create an OFD lock overlapping an already existing OFD lock.
