SMB2 dialect is not as common (would be important if the servers were
Windows Vista, Windows 2008) anymore, as almost all modern servers
support SMB3 or later dialect, but it is still worth fixing if you
found bugs specifying SMB2 on mount (vers=2)

(the last version of the open source Samba 2 server, which only
supported CIFS, not SMB2 or SMB3 dialects) came out in 2004 - but that
doesn't seem to be what you meant)
