Steve, all Please find a new iteration of the compounding patches that are rebased ontop of for-next, and thus has the smbd changes we recently got. I hand merged some of Aureliens changes and copied his signed-off to the relevant patches. The series consists of three distinct parts 0001 - 0004 which finalizes the removal of the tcp-centric 4 byte length field from the smb2 pdu structures 0005 - 0009 which perfoms some additional plumbing we need before we can add the compounding functions. 0010 - 0014 which converts queryfs to use compounding Lets work on this is smaller bite-sized chunks than addressing all the pacthes at once. For now, lets only look at the first set of patches, 0001 - 0004 and ignore the other patches. The other patches are only here to illustrate what the end goal will be. If we can focus on patches 0001 - 0004 and review and test them, once we get these four patches merged into for-next then we can move on to the remaining patches. For testing and review, please only apply and use the first 4 patches. regards Ronnie Sahlberg -- To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-cifs" in the body of a message to majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html
