MS-CIFS says: "The server MUST NOT disconnect clients that have been inactive less than 5 minutes." Using that guideline, perform a reconnect to any server that hasn't responded in the last 5 minutes. Eventually, we may want to make this tunable, but it seems like a reasonable default.
