Thanks Milosz, I will test and check if I can apply the patch in my current kernel - 2.6.32-431.11.2.el6.x86_64
Upgrading the kernel to 3.x currently not an option for my systems since some does not work in kernel 3.x.

I think that's a bug that's been fixed in the upstream kernel.
Somewhere around the time of ~ 3.10. Here's the link to the fix:
