David, I am finally getting around to testing the latest FS-Cache code again but I can't seem to find any way to get the " credentials" patches into the latest 2.6.28 Fedora 10 kernel: http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=79697 I suppose I don't *have* to use this kernel as the base but it would be a bit neater in our environment for testing. I got the FS-Cache patches in fine but the cred patches are another story. It seems these are heavily integrated into the security branch and so I can't really tell how to get a 2.6.28 tree like Fedora's patched up with all the required bits to get the latest FS-Cache to build. Is there a bare minimum of cred patches that can be applied to 2.6.28.1 to get the fs-cache working? On a related note is there any desire to maintain fs-cache in the Fedora kernels as a way of testing more widely? I read with interest the discussion about getting fs-cache into the upstream kernel (and am of course all for it) but it looks like it will be a few more releases yet - if at all. We continue to be very interested in this code and the Lustre client integration. Daire -- Linux-cachefs mailing list Linux-cachefs@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/linux-cachefs
