Dear FS-Cache users, i discovered the following strange behaviour. When another user than root (e.g. nobody, benadm) accesses files (e.g. via a simple copy command to /dev/null) on a FS-cached NFS mount the kernel reports: Feb 19 09:14:56 dqkal136 syslog-ng[1960]: STATS: dropped 0 Feb 19 09:31:03 dqkal136 su: (to nobody) root on /dev/pts/0 Feb 19 09:43:46 dqkal136 su: (to nobody) root on /dev/pts/0 Feb 19 09:44:08 dqkal136 kernel: FS-Cache: error from cache: -13 The command procedes without caching anything. As root the cache grows as expected. Has anybody made the same experience, knows the reason, or even better knows how to get rid of it?
