Re: [Linux-cachefs] CacheFS performance issue

Hi,

Could anyone please clarify on this issue? I am currently doing a
project with fscache and so I would really like to know if I can
really benefit from it. I am actually integrating fscache into
diskless client with Fast ethernet connection (not actually
diskless...but a small disk for the cache). Since there is only one
NFS server with lots of clients, my guess is that there would be
performance gain with fscache integrated.
Thanks a lot!

Then under what circumstances should I choose to use the cache? Do you
mean that the cache will only be beneficial under really slow
connection?? I am not using Gigabit Ethernet but Fast Ethernet.
Wouldn't NFS client still benefits from using the cache with a heavy
loaded server (for example, around 200 clients)?
