Hm okay, Documentation/gpio/consumer.txt says:

    Guidelines for GPIOs consumers
    ==============================

    Drivers that can't work without standard GPIO calls should have
    Kconfig entries that depend on GPIOLIB.

So a "depends on GPIOLIB" would be more appropriate, right?
