Re: aplay failed on bluetooth audio with bluez 4.101

Hi Community,

I found something interesting today.

On my laptop aplay can play a wav file through bluetooth headset for
about 10 times, after that, no sound played. Today I found that the
sco packet transmitted keeps increasing regardless whether there is
sound output through bluetooth headset, by "hciconfig hci1 sco"
command. Also "hcidump -i hci1 sco" can see something like "< SCO
data: handle 65 flags 0x00 dlen 48" all the time.

However, on my target machine, aplay can't play the wave file for even
once, no sound at all, even no "beep" during BT_SET_CONFIGURATION
request. Although "hcidump sco" reveals something like "< SCO data:
handle 7 flags 0x00 dlen 48", "hciconfig hci0 sco" reveals that the RX
and TX sco packets remains ZERO.

Does this imply that no sco packet sent to the bluetooth headset from
kernel bleutooth driver?

If there is no sco packet ever sent, why there are tons of results of
"< sco data ..." by "hcidump sco" ?
