I did try with bluetoothctl but it fails with the following log:

systemd[1]: Started Bluetooth service.
bluetoothd[255]: Starting SDP server
bluetoothd[255]: kernel lacks bnep-protocol support
bluetoothd[255]: System does not support network plugin
bluetoothd[255]: Bluetooth management interface 1.4 initialized
bluetoothd[255]: Failed to obtain handles for "Service Changed" characteristic
connmand[142]: Method "ListAdapters" with signature "" on interface
"org.bluez.Manager" doesn't exist
bluetoothd[255]: hci0 Load Connection Parameters failed: Unknown Command (0x01)
bluetoothd[255]: Wrong size of start discovery return parameters
bluetoothd[255]: Wrong size of start discovery return parameters
