Unfortunately, the patch does not seem to fix this on torvalds/linux commit 42f7652d. I get what looks to be the same error as before, which I'm attaching to this email as an image. I saw the patch get applied in my build log. I also made sure to explicitly select the -git entry in my EFI both when I tested this and when booting to resume from hibernation, but I could always have done something wrong.
