Exactly. For OPP, PBAP, BIP, FTP, you know the file size pretty quickly, no counting required.
And if you have a policy of "use AMP if object bigger than X", then you don't want to spend cycles using BR/EDR if you need to xfer an object even one single octet bigger than X. AMP early, AMP often. :)
