Hi Paolo/Jianlin,

I cloned the original job and was unable to reproduce the panic, I also don't see it
for any previous or succeeding pipeline for stable tree. I setup a check to automatically
tag the related pipeline in case we're able to reproduce it. We can also work on testing
with the patch reverted, if we see it again we'll follow up in this thread.
