Now that you say this, I may be using 512k, too. I remember I switched between
both settings a few times. I have to check that later when I'm back at the
PC.

It makes sense, that I chose 512k because Samsung TLC probably uses 1.5M
allocation blocks, and 512k is the only way to fit that (at the cost of more
management overhead to the firmware but at least it aligns nicely).

Without ever having done benchmarks around this, my system seems to run
smoother with 512k vs 2M in the long run if I remember correctly.
