Note that Petri-foo is a "pitched sampler", while Fabla (and Fabla2) are "drum samplers". The difference is in the mapping of keys, and if it re-pitches samples based on MIDI key, or plays a different audio-sample.

Fabla and Fabla2 will probably not do what Atte is looking for.

OpenAV is intending on building a "pitch-sampler", however it will take some time before its even in the design stage as there are a range of projects currently in development here at OpenAV. Proper news updates of projects and status soon.
