It is not often people talk about metal music on this list, but I
thought somebody might find this interesting if for nothing else, then
for the tools used and the resulting production.

I would like to share an EP release from my band Seed of Heresy recorded
and mixed using Ardour on linux with the exception of vocals and guitar
tracking, which was done in another studio using proprietary non-linux
tools.

The drums were performed by myself in the very same studio depicted in
the zthmusic interview I did back in january - and so are not DrumGizmo ;-)

not really Metal anymore but I would like to take the opportunity to
share the latest recordings from my band which are entirely recorded and
mixed with Ardour and the Calf-plugins:

They are live recordings at rehearsal without fancy studio or any
professional audio engineering but I already learned much by using Linux
for audio stuff.

I like it. You have any plans for lyrics/vocals to go with it?

I wish I could get clean recordings like that of my church band's live performances. You must have a good room setup!
