I did not have a decent enough power adapter for the BBB so I had issues
getting USB devices, like audio interfaces, detected. I blogged about it
here:

But that's just a personal experience. Maybe I did something wrong or
I've looked over something obvious. At that time I also received a
Cubieboard2 and that board immediately absorbed all my interest as it's
more powerful and easier to set up. And it has onboard audio IO.
