It may not be necessary. Just put the entire build into a tarball and
point out the location that that code fails.

be kernel dev lists, I'm just a mere user you know ;)

Got it to compile but it doesn't boot. I've uploaded a tarball of my modified source: http://rk.autostatic.com/linux-rt
This directory also contains a modified RT patch file.
