Deb installed fine. Tried it - very good, I liked it very much in terms of ease of use, in many ways seemed better than RecordMyDesktop, however - I saw no JACK support. It writes audio off of /dev/dsp. Can this be made to work with JACK?

re: xvidcap PPAs. The last one seems to be for 11.10 (Oneiric). It may be
close enough to run. I will try booting 12.04 later and try it. you can DL
the deb file and run dpkg on it to install.
