Hi, I bought three of these recently for a project - http://www.camsecure.co.uk/Camsecure_usb_video.html We were using two at a time, and they worked great with Ubuntu 12.04. They use a lot of USB bandwidth though - needs a bus to itself really. Even trying to copy to a flash drive at the same time stopped the stream. The other issue is the amount of stuff that uses the EasyCap or EZCap name - worth finding a distributor who advertises Linux compatibility like this if you can. Hope that's some help. Best wishes, Neil On 16 May 2013 17:48, Bob van der Poel <bob@xxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > Are any of you using a video capture USB dongle? I'd like to record > some TV stuff to my laptop.
