ALSA should work as you say but you can already get these things with 2GB RAM and a quad core so I think I'd prefer to wait a while longer until we can get one up to that spec but with an AV port.

If you want a discount just order 10 or more and sell them on ebay like
everyone else ;-)

You might even be able to get your one for free with that little scheme.


There's the consumer site also, found this, probably there are hundreds.
