Hi, I'm switching machines from Mandriva 2010.2 on a home built machine to Fedora 17 on a custom built machine. I'm running cdrdao version 1.2.3 on both machines. CDRDAO on the Mandriva machine works just fine, and the discs produced by it play in all sorts of audio and computer CD players. The command I used is 'cdrdao write contents.toc'. The burner on this machine is: /dev/sr0 : PIONEER , DVD-RW DVR-111D, 1.23 CDRDAO on the Fedora machine has trouble. The command I used is 'cdrdao simulate -v 3 --driver generic-mmc-raw contents.toc'. I added "--driver generic-mmc-raw" because cdrdao suggested it. I added "-v 3" to get some debugging output. The burner on this machine is: /dev/sr0 : PLEXTOR , DVDR PX-L890SA, 1.06 The debugging output is: Cdrdao version 1.2.3 - (C) Andreas Mueller <andreas@xxxxxxxx> Format converter enabled for extensions: ogg Detected SG driver version: 3.5.27 Detected SG driver version: 3.5.27 /dev/sr0: PLEXTOR DVDR PX-L890SA Rev: 1.06 Using driver: Generic SCSI-3/MMC (raw writing) - Version 2.0 (options 0x0000) /dev/sr0: SCSI command Rezero Unit (0x01) failed: Bad address. /dev/sr0: SCSI command Rezero Unit (0x01) failed: Bad address. Anyone have any debugging advice? I've tried wodim via K3B in SAO mode, but that produces CDs which are unplayable on some of my audio CD players.
