Hiho, the streamteam of the LAC is working long hours each year to make everything happen - and the video/audio streams are of quite high quality each year, and the questions from IRC do add to the conference. Any help to improve the online-ness of the LAC in addition to the offline-ness is appreciated. Suggestions are welcome, especially if backed up by work on making these things happen. sincerely, Marije On Mon, 11 Feb 2013 23:07:19 -0500 Thomas Vecchione <seablaede@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: > I should clarify that when I asked about online I was meaning making > sure to have the ability to interact/converse/etc. Merely streaming > to the net doesn't provide this, and IRC only provides a very limited > version of this. > > Although I can see the thought of wanting to meet in person and > absorb the atmosphere. > > Seablade > > > On Mon, Feb 11, 2013 at 3:26 PM, Folderol <folderol@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: > > > On Mon, 11 Feb 2013 11:10:58 -0500 > > Thomas Vecchione <seablaede@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: > > > > > So here is my kickback to this, as Nil's comments are the same > > > reason I don't go to many conferences, LAC included.
