+ Easy MIDI support.
+ USB sound support without having to install a driver (like my UCA-202 requires if you want to use it with Windows XP). + How easy it is to install a program from my distro's repository, or get adventurous and mix repositories. Or mix distros.
+ No 32-bit vs 64-bit compatibility issues.
