It's a bit more political than that as they specify JACK in preference to
rewire for all three platforms.  In fact they don't currently have support
for rewire so it looks like they are planning to test the waters with JACK
and see what kind of response the market has to that before spending
time/money on rewire integration.

That is a coup in and of itself!

Sounds like these guys have done their homework ;-)
