These were both great tracks -- thanks for sharing! I haven't tried the Foo plugins, but I'm always on the lookout for nice distortion/saturation plugins, so I'll be sure to give them a go.
I'm really tempted to pick up Aspect, too -- have you found it to be worth the money?
